As a recent former bride, I can honestly say that the most stress and time is spent on the small details of a wedding or event.
This is why I feel it's so important to pay close photographic attention to the details that add a personal touch to your wedding or event that you've thought so much about.
The details are the personality of each event and make it what it is, which is why they are some of my favorite photographs to capture.
I believe the candid, natural photographs are the ones that get printed on canvas. They are the images that cover the mantles in the homes of your families and make the album a show stopper.
They are the images that capture the essence of the event that make you feel the way you felt when the shutter closed and it was saved forever as a tangible memory.
When my clients hire me, it's to capture the feel of an event they can remember forever.
The posed portraits are such a crucial part to any event. It's your chance to look and feel the most beautiful and confident with the people you love most.

The moment where everyone sits and stays quiet for long enough to hear the couple declare their love for each other.
It's such a beautiful thing.
Capturing those quintessential photographs while being as quiet and invisible as possible is where I truly excel. I feel it's not my job to be in the background of every memory you create on your day, but to be the lovely accent that was everywhere and nowhere.
The piece of your wedding that wasn't even the slightest bit stressful.
It's vital to capture the overall moments that set the scene for the entire event.
These images are to show the magnitude and beauty you imagined in your mind before it played out in real life.
I love doing engagement shoots!

Being asked to shoot family portraits is an honor.
For most families, you never know when you'll all be in one place at the same time, so getting the opportunity to capture that moment is something I truly enjoy.
I do these portraits year round, all around the Bay area. I let the families pick the place and I come to them. We have a blast!

Food photography is a blast because it combines my two favorite things: Photos and yummy food!
I was fortunate enough to spend some time working for a restaurant called Bumble in Los Altos that serves delicious Farm to Fork dishes on the daily.
Since then I've utilized those skills to shoot for my mom and sister's pie company CRUST Pie Shop where they have a ton of fun making tasty organic pies for the masses.

I was selected as one of CMYK's Top 100 Up and coming Creatives in the Nation, and flew to New York to show my book to art directors form all the major publications. It was so well received and I will always be grateful to the town that gave me the courage to create it, and the teenagers who were brave enough to sit for these social portraits of a commentary on their generation.
